Purpose
Funding will support research and development to identify solutions to National Defence’s Challenge: Faster, Stronger, More Secure: Advancing 5G capabilities and concepts for defence and security. The Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in collaboration with Canada’s academic and defence & security communities are seeking to stimulate the application of advances in technologies for 5G and beyond to defence and security problems focusing on: Architectures for Defence and Security Operations, Assured Performance and Security, and Applications and Sensors.
