Purpose
The purpose of this health care education project is to prepare Canadian students to address the challenges of chronic illness care with a focus on regional and community delivery. On-line collaborative course work and inter-country dialogue will prepare students for their nursing practice. Service learning (classroom with field work) programs that reflect an awareness of local and regional diversity will contribute to a positive impact on the health of North American communities.
