Purpose
The retrofit of a health and holistic resiliency center in Edmonton, AB, that will incorporate Indigenous culture and ceremony throughout. All services will be on the 1st floor with wide entryways and accessibility features. The project includes the installation of a 264kW solar array as well as a geothermal exchange field that will support the heating and cooling of the entire facility. The centre will provide triage space, nutritious food, counseling, medical care, substance-use support, ID and financial services, cultural healing, and essential amenities to the community.
