Purpose
The retrofit of a cultural building in Vancouver, BC that will reduce the building's greenhouse gas emissions by 78% and energy footprint by 40%, as well as improving the accessibility and the safety of the Dome. The project includes several critical retrofit initiatives, including improving the mechanical (HVAC) and electrical systems, installing new insulation within the dome, replacing damaged heavy decking panels, and accessibility improvements.
