Purpose

To build stakeholder capacity to support the labour market integration of internationally trained workers (ITWs) in New Brunswick (NB). In order to achieve this objective, the province of NB has identified the following sub-objectives: 1) Conduct a situational analysis and a needs assessment of foreign qualification recognition processes and practices in target occupations in NB; 2) Develop and implement pilot projects in target occupations as identified in the Pan-Canadian Framework for the Assessment and Recognition of Foreign Qualifications; 3) Create a NB version of the "Working in Canada" Tool; and 4) Develop an accountability, reporting and evaluation framework.
