Purpose

ITEA project 18036 SMART led by Esri Canada Ltd. Netherlands, Canada, Eureka ITEA3 Cluster project. The Consortium participants are, from Canada - Esri Canada Ltd. (Consortium lead), Geotab Inc., International Road Dynamics, Inc., University of Toronto Transportation Research Institute (UTTRI), from The Netherlands - ViNotion BV (country lead), Cyclomedia, Sweco, Eindhoven University of Technology TU/e. The IRD component of the SMART project will enable International Road Dynamics (IRD) to develop new products and technologies, and enhance existing products and technologies to increase product offerings in both current (inter-urban) and Smart City markets worldwide. An initial focus will be on information tools and sensors to support real-time traffic management and transportation planning. The ITEA3 SMART project is an international collaboration with participation from Canada and the Netherlands. This international project has received ITEA3 labelling in Mar 2019
