Purpose
2016-0041 The initial phase of this Project will aim at reviewing Indonesia’s existing strategy on de-radicalisation, prison policies, legislative frameworks, prison management and operation, in order to identify priority areas for enhancement. The subsequent phases of this Project will focus, on the development of a national strategy on de-radicalisation in prisons and its implementation, which will include recommendations for legislative/regulatory reforms, developing tools and manuals on de-radicalisation in prisons, recommendations on how to improve priority aspects related to prison conditions that can be conducive to radicalisation, and provisions of capacity-building programmes.
