Purpose
The objective of this project is to advance the design, the manufacturing and the testing of the convex grating to meet the user requirements for the CASTOR UVMOS. To mitigate technology and schedule risk, LAM will investigate two convex blazed grating technologies during the first phase of the visible pathfinder development. In a second phase, the grating for the CASTOR UVMOS will be prototyped. This prototype will first be tested at LAM at visible wavelengths and then at UV wavelengths at the University of Calgary using the CASTOR UVMOS test bed
