Purpose
The Proponent will construct an anaerobic digestion (AD) facility in Dundalk, Ontario, that will recycle approximately 73,000 tonnes of primarily source-separated organics (SSO) annually from the "green bin" programs of municipalities throughout Ontario, amongst other waste streams. The SSOs will be converted into biogas and digestate through the AD process. The biogas generated will be upgraded to renewable natural gas (RNG) and injected into the local natural gas distribution pipeline network through the Enbridge injection station.
