Purpose

The Apprenticeship Service’s objective is to encourage and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to hire first-year apprentices, particularly key groups, in construction and manufacturing Red Seal trades across Canada. This will help improve apprenticeship outcomes, improve the participation and success of key groups, and enhance employer engagement of apprentices.
