Purpose
Phase 2 of this project will allow the recipient the opportunity to complete all of the activities identified in the original project. Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug (KI) is experiencing safety and wellness issues which continue to overwhelm service providers and the community in responding effectively and efficiently. In support of the safety plan, the community will engage In the creation of an Elders Circle, youth group, language and culture land based camp and interagency forum. These activities will support community development and capacity building efforts to increase safety, gaps in service provision and intergenerational cultural disconnect.
