Purpose

This 30-month project will develop and implement an engagement and awareness strategy to address the root causes of gender-based violence. Escale MadaVic Inc. will achieve this objective by conducting a participatory diagnostic impact analysis and developing and implementing an action plan for moderation of the partner network, including knowledge sharing. At the end of the project, the organization will have contributed to the removal of systemic barriers by advancing inclusive policies and practices; increasing networks and collaboration to accelerate systemic change; and supporting a positive distribution of authority, voices and decision-making power in support of women's equality. As part of this project, partner organizations working with girls and women who are victims of violence will be involved to share their expertise and promote the project among target populations. Escale MadaVic Inc. will establish relevant partnerships during implementation of the project to ensure its success and help women to overcome the current impacts of COVID-19.
