Fierté Canada Pride (FCP)

Purpose

This 31-month project will address organizational capacity needs to strengthen the organization’s foundational structure and network to support the growth and capacity of Pride organizations across the country by engaging them in an asset mapping exercise, developing and launching a 5-year strategic plan, implementing a micro-granting program for small and medium Pride organizations, and providing members with capacity-building support services. The additional funding of $400,000 will allow for the continued expansion of the organization and provision of supports and services to Pride members, including micro-granting, a national conference and national Pride event, access to a human resources management online platform, and fundraising and grant-writing workshops. The organization will also join forces with The Enchanté Network and The 2 Spirits in Motion Foundation to development joint policies, procedures and capacity-building programming, thereby strengthening the infrastructure of LGBTQ2 organizations across the country.
