L'Association féministe d’éducation et d’action sociale (AFEAS)

Purpose

Through this 33-month project, the Association Féministe d’Éducation et d’Action Sociale (AFEAS) will help advance women’s economic security and prosperity through systemic change. In particular, the project will address systemic barriers within the economy, employment, social norms, family, and the political sphere by bringing together provincial and national organizations in an inclusive, pan-Canadian coalition for equity in invisible work. This coalition will implement strategic actions in four or more WAGE regions to ensure invisible work is recognized, reduced, and redistributed equitably by bringing together, educating, and engaging with the public, employers, and provincial and federal elected officials to adopt concrete measures creating systemic change. An external evaluator will measure and assess the impact of the systemic change project.
