Purpose
The grant supports an interview recording project that will help deepen knowledge of the history and experience of Innu people in relation to the Labrador coastal territory, marine mammal hunting and fishing, the relationship between Indigenous people and Basque whalers, and the significance of the Red Bay historic site.
