Purpose
MAInEx project aims to take the InfoEx concept (an open exchange of professional level data) to the next level of interoperability. Navigating avalanche terrain safely requires access to the best data possible. Effective AvSAR responses require good planning and informed risk management decisions made in the field. These decisions are based on the data at hand and MAInEx will ensure the most current and accurate data is made available to SAR teams. These relevant and complete real-time condition assessments will be available to SAR groups to enable them to take appropriate action to ensure the safety of responders.
