Purpose
This 28-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19 through systemic change. The Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority (SLFNHA) will achieve this by 1) increasing Indigenous women's leadership skills and opportunities, 2) building a supportive network of Indigenous women leaders, 3) creating a youth education program, and 4) providing an outlet for youth to share and discuss gender roles, gender-based violence, and promote healthy relationships.
