Purpose
The purpose is to increase law enforcement officers’ knowledge and toolkit to respond to cyber-crime incidents while increasing collaboration and knowledge sharing with partner police agencies in cities and First Nations Communities across Alberta. The project also includes a public awareness campaign that will utilize best practices from across North America to educate Canadians on their cyber safety and the importance of being alert and cautious while using the web and other cyber programs.
