Purpose
The purpose of the Social FInance Fund (SFF) is to foster a vibrant and self-sustaining social finance market in Canada by demonstrating the viability of social finance, attracting new investment, encouraging growth of Social Finance Intermediaries (SFIs), and improving access to capital for diverse Social Purpose Organizations (SPOs). By making affordable financing more broadly available to SPOs, these organizations will be able to use financing to grow, innovate, and enhance their ability to generate social and environmental impacts.
