Purpose

This 36-month project aims to improve women’s access to employment in the Mauricie region, including that of immigrant and Indigenous women. The project will promote collaboration around the issue of women’s access to employment so that stakeholders are kept better informed, including municipal councilors and project developers working to implement regional development priorities that were adopted in 2017. The project also aims to support a variety of regional partners from different sectors in changing practices to respond more effectively to women’s employability needs. To support these changes, a cross-sectoral regional action plan to improve women’s access to employment will be developed and implemented.
