Purpose
The project provides a doorway to lifetime healing for individuals who experience social and cultural challenges resulting from intergenerational trauma and involvement in the criminal justice system. Through knowledge building, behaviour change and community integration, project participants will successfully reintegrate back into Calgary and surrounding or Nation communities. Participants will return to their communities with a better connection to Elders, ceremonies and culture, resulting in health and wellness.
