Purpose
Toronto Police Service (TPS) will expand FOCUS Toronto, a multi-agency collaborative prevention initiative which supports individuals and families that are experiencing heightened levels of risk involving anti-social behaviour and victimization. CVE Toronto will provide FOCUS Toronto with the capacity and tools to receive, assess, and process information on persons at risk of being radicalized to violence. Funding will allow TPS to provide training to frontline practitioners and expand the reach of multi-agency initiatives in support of these efforts.
