Purpose

The main objective of this project is to provide SAR responders, emergency services, public educators, policy makers and stakeholders the opportunity to meet in one location over 4 day period to discuss issues, opportunities and foster professional relationships. SARVAC would like to offer SAR partners the opportunity to have closed door discussions at pre-conference meetings, take part in a hands-on training day, chat with equipment representatives at the tradeshow exhibit, and participate in information sessions which include prevention, case studies, technology, vulnerable persons, mental health, SAR policy, hazards, and much more. The conference will provide communication in both official languages. Simultaneous interpretation will also be available when the conference is held in locations of predominantly French speaking regions of Quebec, New Brunswick and Ottawa. This conference will be collaborative in format, including all SAR - not just GSAR.
