Purpose
Canada Task Force 2 (CANTF2) will continue to invest in the development and maintenance of the skills, equipment and experience required to respond to large-scale incidents in Alberta and across Canada. Working alongside partners across the country and across the Search and Rescue (SAR) Continuum, CANTF2 will continue building a robust Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) response network that is aligned, coordinated, consistent, and ready to respond when needed. The project will see CANTF2 more effectively equipped to respond materially, through upgrades and cycle replacements of equipment and cache supplies, and, operationally, through continued training and coordination building.
