Purpose
This contribution supports Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated to build internal capacity to support and participate meaningfully in the engagement and consultation regarding establishing an Indigenous Protected and Conserved Area, and potential national park/park reserve in the Seal River Watershed within the province of Manitoba. In addition, NTI will work collaboratively with the Kivalliq Inuit Association to ensure inclusive and comprehensive engagement of Inuit in the Kivalliq Region.
