This contributions supports the collection and analysis of sediment and soil cores from a pond on SGang Gwaay (Anthony Island). Analysis will trace past seabird populations on SGang Gwaay Island to help determine if seabird dynamics can be paralleled with climate change patterns, the early human settlements of the Haida, and the 19th century introduction of invasive Sitka deer (Odocoileus hemionus sitkensis).
