Purpose
This contribution supports the development and implementation of policies and initiatives aimed at increasing housing supply in the Municipality of Jasper. The project involves a series of initiatives focused on density intensification, reducing parking requirements, incentivizing the development of accessory dwelling units (ADUs), expediting the housing development permit process, and offering financial tools to support affordable housing. The initiatives are designed to produce an estimated 949 housing units (240 net new units) to receive building permits over the next 3 years, with specific targets for affordable and missing middle housing.
