Purpose
The technical challenge to be undertaken for Nuts for Cheese is to design an automated solution which will address the manual packaging of their nut based cheese product. Getting the cheese packaged for delivery is currently a manual and time consuming task which is limiting the production and; consequently the growth/potential sales for the company. With assistance from the School of Applied Science and Technology at Fanshawe College a customized design will be needed as the next step in automating this time consuming task in the production line. The majority of machinery commercially available is designed for large scale manufacturing that doesn't meet the current production needs at Nuts for Cheese. The desired outcome of this project is to produce a technical report for the company partner regarding the design of an automated packaging solution for their cashew based cheese product.
