Purpose
Technical Feasibility of a low cost, high power Distributed Feed Back (DFB) laser architecture covering design and simulation as well as fabrication files and a limited number of prototypes that will allow characterization of the fabricated laser for key identified parameters demonstrating if the proposed designs meet requirements. It is expected that the project may require 2 to 3 iterations.
