Purpose

The newly built automated berry box machine’s max production rate for producing berry boxes is 534 boxes per hour, however this target has not been reached due constant operator interaction caused by non-feeds in the sheet feeders and misfiring in the stitching heads. Currently, we are working to improve the quality of the feed material and making changes as required to the machine to reduce operator interactions. So far, the improvement made to sheet feeders look promising however, additional run time is needed to verify the issue has been fully addressed. Regarding the stitching heads, new ones has been purchased and installed. The stitching heads need to run for an extended period of time to verify they perform adequately.
