Purpose

Oat & Mill is developing a custom continuous production line to scale its proprietary oat-based ice cream process. Unlike conventional oatmilk systems, this line must handle whole oats, including pulp and fiber.This requires novel engineering solutions. The project involves hiring a Project Lead and Engineering Consultant to design, integrate, and optimize the line for efficiency, food safety, and scalability. With IRAP support, the team will overcome technical uncertainties, reduce production costs, and enable commercial readiness for a one-of-a-kind, plant-based manufacturing system.
