Purpose
The project will work on developing deep learning models that can utilize the vast amount of publicly available datasets. The group specializes in applying machine learning for geometry and low-level computer vision. Preliminary results for galaxy images have already been obtained and this model will now be extended beyond proof-of-concept to correlate them between redshifts and distances of galaxies.
