Purpose
Sonele is developing a wearable therapeutic device, that uses low intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) in order to induce regenerative and anti-inflammatory effects on biological tissues, such as bone, cartilage, and tendon. This device is the first of its kind, and no other wearable solution on the market exists for painless and non-invasive treatment of fractures such as humerus and tibia fractures. Sonele has extensive experience designing and manufacturing ultrasound devices, and strongly believes that a wearable LIPUS device will facilitate ease of treatment. A wearable device will allow self-mounting to the patient’s area of treatment and require minimal physician/user intervention. This technology can be activated remotely.
