Purpose

The objective of the Indigenous Intellectual Property (IP) Program Grant is to support Indigenous IP awareness and capacity building, to enable participation of Indigenous representatives in the development and implementation of policy and programs at both the domestic and international level relating to the relationship between the IP system and the protection of traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions. The program seeks ultimately to improve the inclusiveness of the IP system.
