L'AMIE

Purpose

The project aims to empower women and girls in three targeted sectors in the Huye District of Rwanda. The project will directly target single women or widows and children living in extreme poverty and will aim to implement a multi-sectoral approach to achieve results. It will jointly address the priority basic needs identified by women, namely health and education, will strengthen the capacity and development of economic activities for women and will increase community awareness and knowledge of women and children's rights and gender equality.
