Purpose
This project will address weak transparency of money in elections and politics (herein: political finance transparency) that prevents a level playing field for women candidates and enables undue influence in policy making, both globally and in six countries -namely Indonesia, Madagascar, Panama, Sri Lanka, Venezuela and Zambia. The project will increase 1) public demand for, 2) political engagement to regulate, and 3) technical innovations to monitor the transparency, equality and integrity of political finance.
