Purpose
The project supports the United Nations Trust Fund (UNTF) to end violence against women. The UNTF is a global, multilateral, grant-making mechanism that supports innovative, evidence-based civil society and women-led solutions. It focuses on preventing violence against women and girls (VAWG), implementing laws and policies to address and eliminate violence against them, and improving access to services for survivors. Project activities include: (1) mobilizing, delivering, and effectively managing funds and technical support for initiatives that prevent and address violence against women and girls; (2) producing and distributing collaborative and inclusive knowledge, data, and analysis based on the results of the UNTF initiatives that measurably inform policy and programming on violence against women and girls; and (3) creating partnerships and mobilizing support for increased funding and commitments to end violence against women and girls.
