Purpose
This project represents Canada’s contribution to the effective functioning of the ACS for the 2023 calendar year. The proposed grant will allow the ACS to carry out the activities required for its operations as outlined in the ACS work plan approved by Arctic Council Ministers, and as overseen by SAOs and Permanent Participant Heads of Delegation, including but not limited to: Administrative and coordination of Arctic Council: ? Preparing and coordinating SAO, Ministerial, and other meetings; ? Reporting and ensuring the management of regular correspondence; ? Managing meeting and other documents, and archiving as appropriate; ? Coordinating relationships with Observers and other external bodies; ? Facilitating the Chairmanship transition process; and, ? Assisting in other general tasks.
