Purpose
The project will target families with perceived affiliation to Daesh in IDP camps and informal settlements, returnees with continued perceived affiliation to Daesh, and community members in areas of return or displacement located in two locations in Ninewa governorate, including neighborhoods in Western Mosul, as well as villages in Northern Ba’aj. IOM will strengthen government capacity to support the voluntary and safe return and reintegration of Iraqi families with perceived affiliation to Daesh; strengthen community-level capacity to support the voluntary and safe return and reintegration of Iraqi families with perceived affiliation to Daesh; increase social cohesion within, and resilience of, communities affected by conflict and displacement; and contribute to increased resilience of populations affected by conflict and displacement through provision of Protection, (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) MHPSS, and legal services.
