Purpose

This project supports Operation STONE, which aims to strengthen national capacities in the Bahamas, Jamaica and Panama, to detect and respond to security incidents involving nuclear or radiological materials. Project activities include: (1) delivering training to law enforcement, customs, nuclear regulators and other stakeholder agencies; and (2) facilitating national efforts to establish inter-agency working groups to better prepare for a possible security incident involving nuclear or radiological materials.
