Purpose
This project focus on the access and retention of school-age girls in the formal and non-formal school system in the North-East, West and Central regions of Côte d'Ivoire through: (i) Strengthening the education system for quality and gender-sensitive education; (ii) Comprehensive sexuality education leading to changes in risky behaviour among young people in schools; (iii) Combating gender inequalities, including GBV and harmful practices; (iv) Access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services; (iv) Community dialogue and socio-economic support for families and community groups. This initiative contribute to Canada's $400 million G7 commitment to the education of women and girls in crisis and conflict situations
