Purpose
The project aims to contribute to strengthened self-determination by Inuit by strengthening ICC positions on issues relevant to Inuit; increasing ICC’s ability to engage in international decision-making by Inuit; and increasing Arctic forum participants’ understanding of issues facing Inuit. To do so, the project conducts research on issues relevant to Inuit priorities, promotes engagement opportunities at all levels of government to Inuit and Inuit rights holding organizations, and launches Arctic advocacy campaigns on issues such as human rights and environment and climate change.
