Purpose
This project aims to enhance collaboration between Canadian and Singaporean organizations in deep-tech sectors like health technology and advanced manufacturing. It seeks to foster innovation, build capacity, expand market access, and promote knowledge-sharing, while building cross-border collaborations. Deep Tech Canada plans to bring 10 Canadian organizations to Singapore for a week-long program. Deep Tech Canada implements this project in collaboration with the Singapore Deep Tech Alliance. Project activities include: (1) delivering workshops on Singapore’s deep-tech ecosystem, visiting key innovation hubs, conducting exchange sessions, and organizing a women’s leadership in deep-tech event; (2) undergoing business development efforts such as business matching, workshops on scaling and navigating the Singapore market, and mentorship; and (3) participating in the Sustainable Innovation Asia 2025 event, showcasing innovative startups to investors and government agencies.
