Purpose

Via this project, ODI-HPG will examine how the humanitarian sector can engage with the social and political dynamics that influence humanitarian assistance through their new Integrated Programme (IP). ODI-HPG will explore five research projects from a range of different angles, in order to examine how the humanitarian sector can engage with the social and political dynamics that influence humanitarian assistance. Project activities for the Integrated Programme include: (1) Designing the research approach and methodology through a comprehensive scoping and refining process; (2) Producing and publishing in-depth research through literature reviews and case studies in partnership with key actors; and (3) Develop final reports and recommendations and communicate findings through policy engagement with key programme and policy actors.
