Purpose

This project aims to enhance the adaptive capacity and resilience of people and ecosystems through Integrated Fire Management and to establish an Indigenous-led Fire Adaptation Network. Project activities include: (1) establishing an International Indigenous-led Fire Adaptation Network; (2) implementing Integrated Fire Management strategies and adaptation plans designed on gender-responsive climate risk and vulnerability assessments; and (3) increasing access to gender-responsive Integrated Fire Management training for national and regional stakeholders.
