COAST CONSERVATION ENDOWMENT FUND FOUNDATION

Purpose

Grant funding to advance Indigenous-led conservation and implementation of the GBS PFP Agreements between the Governments of Canada and British Columbia and 17 participating First Nations through a new permanent endowment fund that will be managed by the Coast Conservation Endowment Fund Foundation to support ongoing management and stewardship activities by the Nations, including collaborative governance and implementation of new marine protected and conserved areas in the Great Bear Sea/Northern Shelf Bioregion.
