Purpose

The project will improve the Guelph Farmers’ Market and expand operations from five hours one day per week to 12 hours 7 days per week. Project activities will include renovations to upgrade the existing farmer’s market building to become AODA compliant; building and installing additional vendor stalls that allow for physical distancing; building and installing a shared commercial kitchen; purchasing and installing green infrastructure including LED lighting and upgraded electrical that will reduce the facility’s footprint; creating an event space; and purchasing and installing audio visual equipment.
