Community Foundations of Canada

Purpose

The objectives of this project are to: Provide funding to a broad and diverse range of CSOs across Canada by delivering an open, transparent, and impartial application process that facilitates the fair, effective and efficient distribution of funds; Deliver assessment processes that are consistent across the country while taking community-specific considerations into account, including those of Equity-deserving communities; Promote awareness of the Program to CSOs to increase uptake; Align data collection methodologies with Other Recipients to inform funding decisions based on available data and assessment of community needs; and Collect disaggregated data on CSO applicants and Sub-Agreement Holders to monitor and report on funding allocation, including to Equity-deserving communities.
