Purpose

The key objectives of the CWDP are to: .• Support community workforce planning by bringing together community-based organizations to develop a plan that identifies local sources of labour, local employers looking to hire, and the skills required to meet demand;.• Connect employers and training providers to help displaced workers develop skills through training and work experiences to facilitate transitions to emerging and growth areas; and,.• Support employers to fill jobs in demand that contribute to stimulating economic growth
