Purpose
This project will seek to achieve the following specific objectives: 1. Increase access to tools and models integrating indigenous specific approaches to knowledge and learning that resonate in Aboriginal communities and families. 2. Enhance knowledge around family literacy for Aboriginal Head Start Association of British Columbia (AHSABC) staff and volunteers who work with Aboriginal families. 3. Strengthen the capacity of First Nations parents to engage in literacy activities with their families and communities.
